How does Catering World work?

Catering World is a digital marketing for all types of vendors that are needed when planning any type of event. There are two different ways to plan your event; “You Plan It” and “We Plan It.” These are explained more in detail below.

Is Catering World free?

Absolutely. We never charge any fees other than what the vendors require. You will always see a breakdown of what the vendor charges. Nothing is hidden and there are no markups.

Do you have a 100% satisfaction guarantee?

Yes. The vendor is paid upon services provided. If service is not up to standard, then we will mediate between client and vendor to reach a mutual agreement.

Is Catering World’s order process secure?

Of course! We use 256-bit encryption to process payments, and have thorough vetting processes in place to prevent fraudulent activities.

You control how we share your information. Please see our privacy policy.

Orders

How do I place my order?

After you've applied as a client, one of our representatives will reach out to help you with this process.

How far in advance can I place an order?

Two years in advance

Can I view past or future orders?

Not yet! This feature will be coming soon. But don't worry. Information about current orders placed can be accessed by contacting our representatives!

Can I change an order once it is placed?

Guest count can be modified up to 15 days before the event. For all other changes, our representatives will do their best to accommodate, but we cannot make any guarantees.

Is there a fee for cancelling an order?

The original 20% fee is non-refundable, unless otherwise specified. It will depend upon individual professional refund policies. We also recommend purchasing event insurance.

Can you accommodate special request?

Yes but vendors may charge extra fees for these request.

Pricing and Payments

Does April's Catering World mark up vendor prices?

No. We receive a booking fee based on the percentage of the vendor’s price.

How does April's Catering World make money?

We do digital marketing for our vendors. We charge a percentage fee that is paid by the vendor. We also facilitate bridal shows and other events.

When do you bill my credit card?

You may pay for the full event upfront.

Or if you'd prefer, then a 20% non-refundable deposit fee will be charged when the order is placed. 50% of the balance will be charged 60 days before the event. The final payment will be charged two weeks before the event. The balances will be automatically charged to the credit card on file.

What forms of payment does April's Catering World accept?

Corporate checks, Cashier's Checks, Money Orders, American Express, Discover, Visa, and MasterCard.
